The Project Assistant/Perinatal Instructor supports the planning, implementation and evaluation of Healthy Families' evidence-based and evidence-informed health education programs within Holy Cross Community Heath. Programs include maternal/child health, adolescent health as well as special projects and initiatives.

Promotes Holy Cross Health services to the obstetrical client.

Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.

Minimum Licensure/Certification required (if applicable):
  • Current licensure by the state of Maryland State Board of Nursing as a registered nurse.
  • CPR certification within the probationary period.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Two years teaching experience in maternal/child health.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in word processing, tables and spreadsheets.
  • Expertise in project management and developing, implementing and evaluating perinatal education programs.
  • Certification by a national childbirth education organization preferred.
  • Excellent communication (interpersonal, verbal and written) skills. Speaks clearly with a good command of English.
