Duties

  • You will be responsible for aligning multiple Program Protection and Resilient Program Framework efforts in the command and responsible for program requirements.
  • You will establish SSP Program Protection roles and responsibilities, and official documentation of program protection.
  • You will track Program Protection development of administrative program policies, regulations, goals, or objectives.
  • You will develop procedures and systems for establishing, operating, and assessing system effectiveness.
  • You will use analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for assessing program development efforts.
  • You will perform management surveys to determine compliance with Program Protection requirements.

  • Per E.O. 14043, selectee(s) must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by 11/22/2021 or date of employment (which ever comes later) except in limited circumstances where an exemption is approved due to a disability or sincerely held religious beliefs.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field A Level II. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.


Qualifications

For the NH-3: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-2 (GS-11 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of program protection operations to ensure established program goals and objectives are met.
