Duties

As a Supervisory Realty Specialist, you will:
  • Provide oversight for OCC policy compliance with respect to office locations, lease terms and conditions, and ongoing lease audits and administration as well overall oversight to all aspects of facilities management such as design, space planning, and various facilities services.
  • Manage the evaluation of office locations, lease terms and termination options, client needs, and real estate market fluctuations; and make recommendations on the most cost effective lease alternatives.
  • Oversee negotiations and execute agreements for all OCC office leasing activity. Authorize funds for renovation/construction projects involving Landlords. Approve and authorize rent and all other invoices from landlords for payment.
  • Manage OCC Facilities program to include space usage, custodial, maintenance and repair, energy efficiency, facility improvements and refresh, and health and safety of office environment.
  • Direct office space design and planning including oversight to project insuring proper project management procedures as it relates to schedule, costs, construction, communications, etc.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a staff of employees. Provide senior level advice and counsel on work and administrative matters. Plan work to be accomplished, assign work to subordinates, and set and adjust priorities. Develop performance standards and evaluates performance in accordance with OCC guidelines.

  • Travel occasionally to attend conferences and/or training.
  • Obtain and use a Government-issued charge card for business-related travel.
  • File an OCC Financial Disclosure Form.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement:

You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-V level or GS-13 to qualify for the band level NB-VI. Examples of specialized experience for this position include:

- Leading construction and/or renovation of office space projects using project management techniques such as project schedules, communication, project charters, etc. AND
- Overseeing facility/building services such as custodial, maintenance, space planning, office design services, etc. AND
- Leasing of facilities in areas such as evaluation, negotiation, review of lease terms and conditions, on-going lease audits and administration, real estate portfolio management.

  • Salary range includes 22.26% geographical pay.
