Duties

  • You will repair and overhaul brake systems including mechanical, hydraulic, direct air and vacuum over hydraulic.
  • You will repair and overhaul front end drive axels and replace their components.
  • You will repair and overhaul single speed, two speed and positive traction axles.

  • This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
  • You will be required to possess a current Automotive Service Excellence certification.
  • You must be able to obtain and maintain a current Virginia Class B Commercial Drivers License with air brake endorsement certification within 6 months.
  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
