DCS is seeking a Computer Analyst to help support both the U.S Navy and U.S. Air Force programs. In this role, the Computer Engineer will be a member of the Engineering Team supporting the Aviation and Maritime Technology Division (AMTD). In this role you will analyze and implement Configuration Manager/ Data Manager (CM/DM) processes in accordance with CM plans and industry standards. You will also perform innovative professional and technical work in the design, setup, configuration, maintenance, alteration, and troubleshooting of all AMTD systems. Work is executed with significant independence both individually and in a team environment. This position is responsible for 24/7 support either onsite or remotely to troubleshoot and address any and all issues that may occur within AMTD.

Essential Job Functions:

Deploy, configure, upgrade and maintain AMTD division's unclassified and classified lab network infrastructure. Which includes physical and virtual networked workstations and servers, switches, printers, CD/DVD writers, and other technical equipment.

Plan, perform, and document bi-monthly security and hardware patches for all unclassified physical and virtual networked workstations and servers for improved functionality and to prevent security risk.

Administer, maintain, and utilize multiple software development tools across the division, including, but not limited to Active Directory, Risk Radar, Enterprise Architect, SEER, Azure DevOps 2020 (On-Premise), Visual Studios, SCCM, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Microsoft Hyper-V.

Maintain inventory of all the AMTD divisions' physical assets and software license management.

Manage all technology related purchase requisitions for the division, for example, new hardware purchases, license maintenance renewals and/or additions.

Provide technical input for the division's annual budget.

Develop in-depth documentation that describes routine duties, policies, procedures and FAQ's for users and system administrators within the division.

Reinforce the division's networks security to comply with and understand CMMC and NIST 800-171 Security Standards.

Act as the Configuration Manager for all facets of the program.

Ability to evaluate the current status and implement improvements to the overall CM program.

Performs tasks to develop overarching configuration management and data management strategy for the program.

Creates engineering document trees cataloging baseline system configuration data.

Develops and transforms low/high-level design artifacts into customer deliverables.

Coordinates with subcontractors to ensure subcontract deliverables meet specification requirements.

Coordinates and communicates with stakeholders, end users, internal & external customer and leadership to acquire waivers (if required) in order to meet contractual requirements.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A High School Diploma plus 13 years of experience, an Associate's plus 7 or a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of professional experience.

Must have or be able to attain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance.

Experience in operating and maintaining Windows Server and Windows Workstation Operating Systems.

Experience in Agile software lifecycle development and standards.

Experience using, Hyper-V, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft TFS/Azure DevOps.

Experience receiving and tracking Government Furnished Information (GFI/GFE).

Experience with tracking of software deficiencies and inventory of equipment.

Experience coordinating documentation deliveries with third-party hardware and software vendors.

Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex problems, recommend and develop innovative solutions.

Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of configuration management activities.

Develop and maintain a data management strategy for the program.

Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.

Ability to manage projects.

Ability to interact with team members without supervision.

Initiative and a competitive drive to get things done.

Strong listening, questioning, clarifying and summarizing skills.

Desired Skills:

Agile Software Development Process Management experience.
