Job Description

The Washington Post news engineering team is looking for curious, creative and upbeat students from interesting backgrounds to work with us to help our newsroom report stories they couldn't reach without technology. Our team includes software engineers, data scientists, data visualization engineers.

Tools We Use
  • Node, NextJS and/or React.
  • Python and/or R.
  • Modern HTML/CSS.
  • Charting libraries like D3.
  • AWS tools like lambda, EC2 and/or CloudFormation.

If you work with tools like these, you'll likely fit in with us technologically. If you haven't worked with all of these tools yet, that's okay! None of them is a requirement for applying.
