A preferred Sparks Group partner is seeking a Senior Security Operations Specialist to join a growing team focused on Emerging Technology Services. This position is 100% remote. If you are interested in learning more about Sparks Group and the opportunity, please submit your resume today.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Validation and Risk Assessment activities in support of the customer (Validation Security Assessment Testing, System Risk Documentation, System Audits, Security Hardware and Software Testing)
- Create/provide all compliance artifacts and documentation needed to plan and execute a thorough test of systems
- Develop/maintain Security Plans (SSP), Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M), and other A&A documentation
- Initiate/prepare A&A packages, ensure packages (C&A and A&A) are complaint, verify package requirements and configuration modifications are preformed and tested
- Assist in providing the final Security Assessment support and guidance
- Work as a Security Control Assessor (SCA) and Validator depending on the system
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Proficient in Office 365
- Knowledge of the following:
- NIST 800-53
- NIST 800-171
- CMMC
- RMF
- FedRamp Security Control Assessments
- DISA STIG
- CIS Benchmarks
