SENIOR STATISTICIAN

Senior Statistician for AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP / Gaithersburg, MD (FT M-F) to lead the statistical analysis plans for complex studies. Reqs: Must have Master's deg. or foreign equiv in Statistics, Math, or rel + 2 yrs exp in the position offrd or rel. Must have 2 yrs of exp in each of the following: Statistical prgmg incl SAS & R to produce analyses to support pharma dvlpmt of regulatory & payer submissions & approvals; Implmtn of techn'l & regulatory reqmts w/in the pharma industry to support dsgn & interpretation of dvlpmt prgms; Dsgn, analysis & reporting of complex non-clinical & clinical studies; Identifying & applying statistical methods & applics incl generalized linear models, Bayesian models, & tipping point analysis in study dsgn, analysis & interpretation; Adaptive sequential dsgns w/ sample size re-estimation to achieve sufficient power; & Modeling & simulation to inform dsgn decisions & the dvlpmt of decision criteria.
