Serves as point of contact for SDID on matters relating to stormwater management. Participates in Inter-Agency team building and collaboration on matters regarding Stormwater Facility Design review and construction. Collaborates with other Governmental Agencies to ensure appropriate review and code compliance. Coordinates the field inspection effort with the site inspectors during the construction phase. Researches and prepares special Engineering studies, reports pertaining to Stormwater Management Facilities, and Code Amendments. Reviews and comments on proposed amendments to codes, ordinances and the PFM relating to Storm Water Management and proposes amendments to address best practices and good engineering design. Prepares correspondence and memoranda in response to Stormwater Facilities Design matters. Reviews construction drawings to ensure compliance with approved geotechnical reports. Presents complex reports to the Board of Supervisors, Planning Commission and various Authorities and Committees. Serves as an expert witness in court cases.
