Commercial Real Estate - Head of FHA Production
The Head of FHA Production is part of the Agency Finance business within Commercial Real Estate at Capital One Commercial Bank.
- Capital One has been an established FHA lender for over 10 years focused on both LEAN and MAP production
- This role is responsible for Capital One's FHA Lending activities for the Agency Finance platform. This will include leading a team of FHA Originators and pre-screen specialists.
- This role will coordinate with other Origination teams, Hybrid Relationship Managers, broker origination teams, Capital Markets and Treasury Management to cross-sell and partner across businesses
- This role provides expertise in both Healthcare and Multifamily FHA lending, serving as the face of Capital One Real Estate in that segment.
- This role should have good relationships and connections to the various HUD offices with a strong network in FHA lending.
- This role assumes responsibility for all risk management activities within the market, and sets the strategic objectives for the team.
- This role will directly oversee a team of approximately 5 individuals and manage a platform consisting of ~15 individuals

Key Responsibilities
Financial Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the overall P&L through the respective market originations and deposit volume
People Management:
- Directly oversees a team of approximately 5 individuals and manages a platform consisting of ~15 individuals
- Identifies and hires team members to produce volume, market the platform, and cross sell Capital One products
Influence/Thought Leadership:
- Recognized as an expert in HUD lending across the market
- Attends and actively participates in industry events
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in HUD Lending; primarily Healthcare and Multifamily
- At least 5 years of experience leading a team of professionals
