Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Biomedical Engineering Technician who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Biomedical Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for:
• The repair and maintenance of medical equipment used at the White oak Medical Center.
• Performing planned maintenance
• Repairing electronic and hydraulic devices
• Performing installations and calibrating equipment
• The use of a computerized service system to log and report service issues to supervisors to ensure
that equipment is maintained in accordance with compliance standards

Qualified candidates will possess:
• Associates degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent military training required
• 3 months experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment preferred
• Valid drivers license required; variable travel requirements depending on primary site that may require the use of personal vehicle
• Complex computer skills including the ability to interpret error codes, defragment hard-drives, replace power supplies, and interpret computer codes required
