Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Staff Internal Auditor who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Staff Internal Auditor, you will:
• Perform assigned financial, operational and compliance related Internal Audit engagements successfully/timely from planning through action plan monitoring in accordance with IIA standards and AHC Internal Audit Policies and Procedures
• Perform timely follow-up reviews on project reports to validate that appropriate corrective actions have been taken by management
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, AHC Organizational Integrity Program, Code of Ethics and other AHC policies and procedures
• Apprise the department leaders of the status of all assigned duties and tasks in an agreed-upon timeframe

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a healthcare related field; MBA or MHA preferred.
• 1 to 4 years of internal auditing, public accounting, consulting, healthcare or related business experience preferred
• Experience in Agile methodology preferred but not required

Work Schedule:

Full-time days; Monday to Friday, occasional evenings or weekends may be required in the performance of audit related work.
