As a Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner, Onboarding & Employee Health Clinic(OEHC):
• Performs post-offer, pre-employment medical history and health assessments in accordance with standard of care practices and system policies.
• Performs HCW screenings/surveillances and reporting, as per regulatory requirements/guidelines, in collaboration with system and entity Occupational Health teams and other disciplines (e.g., Infection Prevention).
• Supports and ensures execution of all Occupational Health programs and initiatives. Actively participates in efforts surrounding annual TB screening, annual mandatory Flu vaccination, post-exposure screening, and other HCW immunizations and medical surveillance programs, as per regulatory requirements/guidelines.
•In collaboration with entity Occupational Health, performs physical exams and/or health assessments, diagnosing and implementing therapeutic regimens, as appropriate, for workplace injury or illness. Ensures the injured worker's prompt return to work in modified or full duty.
•Develops / revises policies and procedures to support employee health functions, meeting all requirements and regulatory compliance needs.
•Ensures that practice adheres to Nurse Practitioner-Physician collaborative agreement as well as Occupational Health policies and other system policies.
•Provides occupational health services for physicians and other contractual services as needed.
•A member of the local emergency response team. Manages the entity HCW screening during an emergency event as per policy following guidance from the Incident Command Center and the Health Department

Required Qualifications: Competencies
• Ability to diplomatically work with employees, leaders, and medical staff regarding occupational health and/or Workers' Compensation related issues.
•Solid PC skills and experience working within the Windows environment. Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc. Experience with Workday preferred.

Required Qualifications: Education and Experience
•BSN, MSN. Registered Nurse license and CRNP license in the State of Maryland required.
•2-5 years' NP experience. ANCC or AANP Certified as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner in Maryland.
•Office management experience preferred.
•Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Maryland required.
•ANCC or AANP Certified as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner in Maryland.
•BLS/CPR Certified by American Heart Association.
•Certification in occupational health, case management or experience in occupational health nursing or related field preferred.
•Must be approved/credentialed as staff affiliate by AHC Medical Staff.
