Let your imagination take flight supporting the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). Looking to find work that stimulates your mind, challenges your skills, and satisfies your curiosity? MIL currently holds several multi-year contracts with NAWCAD in the areas of Cyber, C5ISR, and Information Technology systems.

Summary

The MIL Corporation is looking for an Engineering, Associate to support tasking involving system concept formulation, system, requirements analysis, subsystem and interface design, hardware and/or software development, test and evaluation planning and execution, installation support, and field service support of C4IS audio and visual communications equipment, systems, and subsystems. This position is on-site at our Lexington Park, MD location.

Responsibilities
  • Serves as focal point for all AV control system code development and AV Touch panel interface design.
  • Generates and updates AV system control code and AV system Touch Panel designs, as applicable, during the development and fielding of AV communications systems.
  • Conducts system and subsystem engineering analysis and captures system and external interface requirements.
  • Assists in development of preliminary and comprehensive system architecture, conducts market research and trade studies, and designs subsystems for various military platform communication systems.
  • Assists in development of cable block diagrams and cable run sheets and oversees the drafting production of technical data package documents.
  • Generates code and/or hardware configurations, as applicable, during the development and fielding of the communications system.
  • Performs integration, test/evaluation, and installation engineering for electronic equipment/systems and subsystems both at MIL and at the customer site.
  • Assists in development of documentation for Test and Evaluation Master Plans and Information Assurance approval documentation.
  • Performs sustainment planning, fielding validation, and verification testing, production engineering planning, risk assessment, and technical resolution.
  • Assists cybersecurity engineering efforts during the Inception, Elaboration, Construction, and Transition phases.

Required Qualifications
  • Seven (7) years or more of related experience developing C5ISR systems hardware and/or software for such systems.
  • Three (3) or more years of direct experience in DoD C5ISR communications system development, including programming of A/V and other specialized hardware.
  • Certification in one or more C5ISR communications systems technologies
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Per federal guidelines, ability to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain by January 18, 2022.

Desired Qualifications
  • Top Secret / SCI clearance.
  • Experience in generalized programming languages.

Education

Bachelor's Degree, from an accredited college or university, in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline . Six (6) years of work experience related to the position, or an Associate's Degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to the position, may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Clearance
