About the Role

Commercial Technology is looking for a Senior Manager to join the Communications and Associate Engagement team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with senior executives to create inspiring, compelling, and connected communications. The candidate will advise on narratives, messaging, and communications strategies with the goal of driving advocacy across the business for the work in Commercial Tech. We're looking for an amazing writer and storyteller, cross-platform communicator - a true strategic partner who understands how to translate business priorities into engaging, inspiring content and experiences. We are seeking a self-starter with superior written and oral communication skills. This person will have excellent attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to change quickly. Being able to influence through communications in various forms, is key to success in this position.

What you will do:
  • Work with members of senior leadership to develop the narrative of the ongoing work in Commercial Tech.
  • Advise leaders and business partners on messaging, approach, and execution to help them achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Build relationships with Business, Tech, and partner groups to inform and connect on strategic and relevant issues and topics.
  • Support members of the senior leadership team to bring their personal narrative to life through creative storytelling and engaging content.
  • Manage, develop, and maintain the new hire onboarding process, experience, and materials.
  • Partner with value streams and the business to develop new hire onboarding materials, leveraging Google tools, including Google Slides and Docs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the Communications team. Be an effective team member, willing to support and deliver when needed.

  • Passion for creative, visual storytelling that translates business strategies into simple yet compelling narratives.
  • Strong business acumen and change management background.
  • Fantastic project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Resourcefulness and self-motivation to independently prioritize shifting workloads.
  • Proven leadership capability and ability to work cross-functionally.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 6 years of experience in communications or marketing
  • At least 4 years of experience using Google Suite


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • 7+ years of experience in communications or marketing
  • 4+ years of experience in the banking or financial industry
