Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Rehabilitation Aide for our Acute Care Rehabilitation department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Rehabilitation Aide you will:
• Assist the Physical and Occupational Therapists, as well as the Speech-
Language Pathologists, in maintaining a safe environment for therapy.
• This position requires direct patient care and transporting patients to
and from the Therapy department from the nursing units.
• Assist with treatment and communicate with the health care team and
patients to keep the day running for the therapists.
• Cross cover the Therapy desk and issue equipment; prepare Therapists'
schedules; department organization.

Qualifications include:
• High school or GED
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
required
• Excellent verbal communication skills are required
• Able to handle a multi-tasking, fast paced environment
• Experience with paper work and computer software

Work Schedule:

Per diem as needed for coverage. Minimum requirement of 2 weekend shifts per month + rotation through the holiday and holiday weekend schedules.

Shift hours are 7:00a -3:30
