Adjunct Faculty in Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering and ComputingThe George Mason University Department of Mechanical Engineering, within the College of Engineering and Computing, invites interested applicants to join the faculty as part-time Adjunct Faculty members beginning Spring 2022. Adjunct faculty members are needed to either teach required course(s) in the major or elective course(s) that meet the needs of the program. Required Qualifications:Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field; andSolid verbal and written communications skills. Preferred Qualifications:Terminal degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field;Experience with a learning management system, preferably Blackboard;Relevant professional experience; andTeaching experience at the collegiate level. About the Department:The Department of Mechanical Engineering houses 19 full-time faculty. It offers a PhD degree and teaches mechanical engineering courses to support a major and minor in mechanical engineering.
