Job Location: NASA Headquarters Occupational Health Services (Health Unit), 300 E. Street S.W. Wash. D.C. 20024

Salary: Negotiable (Clinic Hours 8am-4:30pm)

Position Summary: This position is responsible for planning and providing comprehensive nursing care in accordance with professional nursing standards at the NASA Headquarters Occupational Health Services (OHS)Clinic.

•Must be registered Nurse

•Graduate of a U.S. accredited nursing school.

•Licensed in the District of Columbia.

• At least three years of professional nursing experience, preferably w/experience in an occupational health setting. Job

Functions/Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessment of walk-in patients to determine if patient requires further treatment or evaluation by a physician.

• Perform physical evaluations of patients to include audiometric testing, Spirometry, vision/IOP, EKG, and phlebotomy.

• Assess patient conditions, interpret nursing guidelines, and modify patient care as necessary.

• Assist physician in examination and treatment of patients as needed.
