Job Summary: 
Westat is seeking an individual to work with the recruitment director on a large public health surveillance system. This position requires close collaboration with project leadership and client teams. You will work closely with Westat project management to develop recruitment materials and recruitment strategies, conduct recruitment activities, and maintain project documentation daily. This role requires working closely with complex healthcare organizations needed for data collection purposes. You will build relationships with executives, directors, and support staff of hospitals and health systems.

Job Responsibilities:
•    Work on the development of recruitment materials including factsheets and invitation letters
•    Manage the storage and inventory of recruitment materials
•    Conduct pre-recruitment research of all selected hospitals to identify hospital decision makers, services offered, and areas of interest.
•    Collaborate with the recruitment director on recruitment strategy.
•    Send invitation letters and factsheets to a targeted group of decision makers and influencers within each hospital.
•    Guide hospitals through the enrollment process.
•    Maintain a detailed and user-friendly call log within the project management system.
•    Document specific details about each hospital, activity, and contact in the project management system.
•    Work on the production of progress reports. 
•    Participate in recruitment team meetings and client meetings as needed.
•    Work with the project director with administrative contract requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
•    A Bachelor's degree, preferably in public health, social science or a related field. 
•    At least 5+ years of experience is required. 

Minimum Qualifications:
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills, related to all supportive tasks for project management, project documentation and schedules, proposals, and email communications. 
•    Demonstrated organizational proficiency, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a team environment.
•    Proactive and willing to learn new things and apply them to your work, and adapt to changes. 

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience working with or within hospitals, health systems, local health departments, or social service agencies.
