Primary Location: 6205-B Peachtree Dunwoody Rd, Herndon, VA, US Division: Cox Communications Job Level: Individual Contributor Travel: No Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Requisition Number: 217203_17496390 Role Summary As the Senior Analyst, Marketing Analytics , you will be a key member of the Marketing Sciences team responsible for Cox Communications residential efforts to support an analytically driven marketing investment optimization strategy. Combining the knowledge attribution analysis techniques, advanced analytical skills, as well as a solid aptitude of the media landscape, will enable Cox to dramatically improve its marketing efficiency and effectiveness. Primary Responsibilities Drive execution and play a key role on the measurement team by assisting in the development and implementation of a data-driven roadmap. Address marketing challenges and make recommendations to improve efficiencies around unified media & creative impact analysis. Project manage the day-to-day maintenance and support of external marketing attribution solutions, including ongoing data collection/validation and performing analysis to identify key marketing optimization insights and recommendations. Stand-up automated data infrastructure and reporting to support marketing investment and performance visibility for key internal media, strategy, and creative teams. Support the strategic planning process by providing forecasts, analysis and direction on media investment and creative messaging effectiveness. Perform quality checks on modeling activities to ensure validity and business sense. Qualifications: Required Where permitted by applicable law, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be considered for this US based job. (Reasonable accommodations for medical and religious objections will be considered.) 5+ years of marketing analytic experience in attribution, marketing mix modeling, and other cross-media & creative measurement solutions/techniques; 3+ years with related advanced degree. Solid knowledge of the online and offline media landscape as it pertains to advertising, including experience working with media/creative agencies, online & offline buying dynamics, and media performance metrics. Strong analytic skills with aptitude to notice patterns in data and turn them into useful insights. Strong proficiency in Excel with solid understanding of the fundamentals in data architecture. Experience with Access and database software such as SQL Server and Oracle desirable. Ability to provide accurate, consistent data in a usable format and on a timely basis with little or no oversight. Self-motivated to take initiative and maintain high expectations for quality work that delivers on needs of internal/external stakeholders. A self-starter eager to take on new challenges. Effective at prioritizing and managing multiple complex projects while working independently. Creative thinker offering innovative and out-of-the-box solutions to complex problems. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication. Preferred 2 or more years of experience in leading complex, cross functional projects preferred. Experience in telecommunications industry desired.
