Position Summary: The Director of Peoplesoft Campus Solution is responsible for the day-to-day management and support of the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions/Student Systems. This position draws on experience and/or expert resources with in-depth knowledge of the business to provide college-wide solutions by managing complex, multi-faceted ERP software applications, including the integrations to other custom and/or COTS systems. The position directs and manages the development and deployment of secured and high availability information systems to mitigate risk, maintain continuity of operations and safeguard the institution's information assets. The Director Peoplesoft Campus Solution provides leadership and expertise and assists in developing and managing a future PeopleSoft Center of Excellence at the institution. RESPONSIBILITIES Oversees the daily operations of the Peoplesoft Campus Solutions group Manages group resources and their assignments and utilization to best support customer business needs, both operational and project based Analyzes customer needs and requests and suggests optimal solutions within the PeopleSoft environment Leads planning and estimating efforts for customer enhancement and project requests Serves as the technical lead for all assessment, implementation, and integration projects that relate to PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Participates in identifying emerging and current technology trends as they relate to PeopleSoft applications, as well as the ERP SaaS applications space Stays abreast of technology and business trends in higher education Responsible for hiring, developing, and managing the performance of staff with an emphasis on customer service, productivity, collaboration, and professional development Promotes knowledge sharing and facilitates staff productivity through the effective use of technology; Motivates staff to innovate, explore new technologies, and try new techniques when solving problems or improving existing processes Recommend technologies for use by the team and to set the strategic direction for the Student Information System. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a closely related field Minimum nine (9) years of progressive experience in managing PeopleSoft ERP and Campus Solution Four (4) years of supervisory responsibility managing midsize to large IT teams Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures Broad PeopleSoft techno-functional experience in assigned HR, Finance or Campus Solutions applications Proven experience leading technology initiatives or projects teams Hands on development experience in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Broad IT computing and infrastructure knowledge and the ability to proactively gather and recommend relevant changes In-depth knowledge in software development methodologies Ability to lead a team of highly competent professionals with varying backgrounds and responsibilities Capability to mentor and develop team members Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex initiatives and projects serving various customers with available resources; ability to respond quickly to changing business needs and priorities Strong ability to develop and implement operational and governance processes and motivate others to follow them Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a track record in developing innovative solutions Familiarity with change management processes and software Excellent written/oral/interpersonal communication skills, both for technical and non-technical audiences Commitment to outstanding customer service Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships Ability to embrace change and help the group navigate change Preferred Qualifications
