Senior Manager, Project Manager

Capital One is seeking a Technology Senior Manager to support the Capital One's Enterprise Data & Machine Learning organization. You will execute on high priority enterprise level initiatives, influence across our organization and partner to drive the implementation of our Machine Learning agenda. Specifically you will lead and manage large scale cross workstream delivery in addition to working with lines of business to develop and execute upon approaches to migrate to the enterprise platforms.

Here's what you'll need to be successful:
  • An appreciation of and background with Enterprise-level platforms, products or services
  • Ability to work independently to drive cross functional efforts
  • Ability to drive creation and facilitation of senior level governance meetings
  • Have understanding of Agile/SAFe frameworks for delivery
  • Proven work experience in the information technology sector
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent problem solving and influencing skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • You feel at ease in complex environments


Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross functional efforts by working with teams to define the problem and clear roles/responsibilities, devise a resolution approach, operationalize and execute upon the plan
  • Work with lines of business to develop and execute upon approaches to migrate to the enterprise platforms
  • Partner cross-functionally with divisional stakeholders, product and technology teams while effectively driving delivery
  • Understand and manage risks and dependencies in a dynamic environment that is constantly adapting to the changing needs of the customer
  • Provide clear scope definition across all impacted areas, including planning, communications, change management, and implementation
  • Identify and resolve risks & impediments to ensure that program delivery continues effectively and unencumbered
  • Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and risks are appropriately mitigated
  • Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure great delivery
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent program management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment.
  • Manage program communications with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes


Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of program management experience
  • At least 1 year of people management experience



Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
  • 10+ years of program management experience
  • 4+ years of people management experience
  • 3+ years of AWS experience
  • 3+ years of Machine Learning experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification
