We're looking for a Vice President of Marketing to create a growth engine by driving brand awareness, demand generation and lead generation. The ideal candidate will have a proven experience in data-driven B2B marketing for SaaS solutions through developing and executing content strategies, creating integrated multi-channel campaigns, building audience-specific awareness through social media, supporting sales enablement activities, and managing vendors. We are not looking for candidates who simply want to manage, but instead someone who will embody servant-leadership and will roll-up sleeves to help us grow our business! This position will be based in our Reston, VA office, though we will consider remote candidates with exemplary qualifications. In this role you will * Set and execute a marketing strategy for our 3 key market segments: Federal, State & Local, and the Extended Enterprise * Help define messaging and positioning for our 3 key market segments * Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team to improve our performance in: * SEO * Email * Virtual and In-Person Events * Content * Conferences * Manage strategic analyst relationships * Be accountable for key pipeline targets sourced through marketing efforts * Work collaboratively with our sales team to drive improvements in our processes and execution * Recommend marketing tactics and technologies that we are not using today * Be integral in driving our success Requirements * 8+ years of marketing experience for SaaS companies including demand and lead generation experience * 3+ years of leading a marketing team * Experience in marketing to both public and private sector organizations * Technology experience with Marketo, Salesforce, and Google Analytics * Demonstrated experience in lead generation and funnel management processes that result in measurable pipeline and revenue * Experience in managing analyst relationships * Strong analytical skills that inform actionable decisions * Exceptional and concise written and communication skills * Have a bachelors degree, or equivalent experience The ideal candidate will have * Experience in Learning Management, Talent Management, and HR software applications * Experience marketing to Federal and State & Local organizations
