The PayPal Global Credit Finance Team is responsible for managing the finances for and forecasting the performance of credit products and initiatives. We work in partnership with a variety of teams across PayPal to make financially sound business decisions that fuel the company's growth. The successful candidate for the Financial Analyst position on the Credit Finance Team will understand the concepts and possess skills in finance, accounting, and information systems. The ideal candidate will also communicate effectively across teams, be able to work independently, and thrive in a rapidly changing environment. Job Description: Responsibilities * Lead and coordinate Global Credit FP&A process for monthly, annual and five year forecasts * Coordinate consolidation and summarization of Global Credit opportunities and risks * Identify and implement forecasting, reporting and data manipulation process improvements. * Prepare data to submit monthly forecasts and annual budgets * Generate recurring and ad-hoc reports * Coordinate and work closely with Corporate FPA, Accounting and other key partners in a matrix environment. * Leverage existing and build new financial models and tools Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or related field * 3+ years of financial analysis experience in finance, banking, accounting, or consulting * Proficiency with Microsoft Office * Strong knowledge of financial information systems (eg SAP, Essbase) * Experience managing data or information systems * Experience working with financial models * Strong communication and presentation skills * Demonstrated track record of identifying and implementing reporting improvements Preferred Qualifications * An advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Analytics, or a related field * 5+ years of experience at a firm in the technology (including fintech), finance, banking, or credit card industry * Experience leading teams * Experience leading, managing, and analyzing financial planning and analytics (FP&A) processes * Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint * Familiarity with project management methodologies (eg Agile Scrum, Kanban, SDLC, Waterfall, etc.) * Experience using SQL Subsidiary: PayPal Travel Percent: 0 Primary Location: Timonium, Maryland, United States of America Additional Locations: Remote Delaware, Remote Maryland, Washington DC, Wilmington We're a purpose-driven company whose beliefs are the foundation for how we conduct business every day.
