As an innovative leader within the educational field, HotSpots is committed to school and community partnerships.10 Month PositionOversees talent, brand and operations of an assigned school age facility to ensure the Hot Spots Extended Care Program mission, vision and values are upheld. Actively develops and maintains positive school/customer/community relations. Maintains high-capacity utilization and manages all resources effectively.Qualifications:This position requires strong organizational, leadership, written/ verbal communication and problem-solving skills. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.Essential Functions:TALENTProactively partners with Corporate Recruiter to Identify and hire the best talentSupports, coaches and develops Program teamEnsures ratio requirements are met at all timesSupports orientation and on-going trainingPromotes teamwork and enthusiasm; fosters commitment to HSECP mission, vision, and values-protect, educate, nurtureDocuments effectively; consistent use of company tools/processesGuides team members through credentialing process to support the achievement of program accreditationBRANDGreets family members and school staff by name; presents a positive and professional imageEnsures staff presents a professional image and uphold HSECP dress codeEnsures exceptional customer service experiences, eg, thorough, friendly tours; welcoming environment; accessible for parents, phone calls, etc.; concerns addressed within 24 hoursEnsures school age facility is consistently clean, neat and organized and meets visual execution standards; recommends repair work as neededSupports and leads new company initiatives to ensure adaptation of new programs, policies and proceduresOPERATIONSNetworks within the community and school population to recruit new families; follows-up with potentials and commits to achieving enrollment goalsEnsures compliance with all federal and state laws, OCC regulations, and HSECP standards, policies and proceduresWorks 10 full shifts, opening and closing school age program on a daily basisEnsures quality curriculum executionCreates staff schedules; maintains accurate and complete employee and child filesCompletes all required paperwork and recordkeeping on a timely basisDemonstrates accountability and initiative; identifies opportunities/goals for the school age facilityUnderstands payroll and budget control and remains within target; achieves enrollment goalsFocuses on meeting State quality standards in order to achieve Program accreditationSeeks professional development opportunities; stays current on new practices in the childcare and education industryMaintains certification requirements regulated childcare licensing, credentialing and accreditationEducation/Experience:High School diploma required, some college desirableSchool Age Director QualifiedExperience in a childcare program desirableSpecific Skills:Computer skills, preferably Microsoft OfficeVery strong customer service skillsKnowledge of OCC licensing requirements helpfulADA CertificateFirst Aid and CPRBasic Health and SafetyMedication Administration
