As the site HR Leader within the North America Supply Chain (NASC) network, the position is responsible for providing support to all site employees in the successful implementation of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and the high performance organizational (HPO) framework. The Senior HR Business Partner consults with leaders and employees to operationalize the people strategy and provide leadership and strategic support for McCormick's manufacturing plant and partners closely with plant leaders and HR colleagues to ensure the continued building of a high-performance work system. Key areas of responsibility include, Organizational Design (including Technician Work System), Organizational Health, People Change Management, Governance over rewards/recognition, communication systems, talent management systems such as compensation, recruitment and succession planning and team development & effectiveness.RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide HR leadership as a results focused change agent in the areas of employee engagement, recruitment, employee relations, compensation, performance management, succession planning, employee communications, training, and policy interpretationDevelop and implement the talent strategy that is aligned with the business needs over the next 3-5 years, providing insight, leadership and support for short-term and long-term workforce planning using data driven analysis for exempt and non-exempt staffThrough OPM (Organizational Performance Model) sessions will consult with leadership and managers on organizational structure, roles and responsibilities, and staffing levels and establish effective staffing/hiring strategies to deliver intended resultsLeads HR system process improvement initiatives and special projectsAct as a contributor and a proactive agent in the development and delivery of diversity and inclusion programs supporting all facility employees through employee development programs, individual development and career counseling, training and development programs, team skills, and leadership skills in a multi shift environmentFoster accountability for employee engagement and performance by ensuring appropriate training/goal setting and recognition plans and programs are in placeCollaborates with various Centers of Excellence (COE's)across the company to ensure that the needs of the site are met and in alignment with corporate programs and strategiesManages and develops direct reportsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related fieldMinimum 8 years of HR experience preferably in a manufacturing plant environmentExperience coaching/counseling across levels and functionsExperience managing multiples projects / initiatives simultaneously & executing successfully to completionStrong team work skills to include experience collaborating with cross functional teams defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions and delivering workable solutionsExperience successfully leading others, developing staff, and influencing changeAbility to work flexible hours across three shifts to meet business demandsPreferred QualificationPHR/SPHR CertificationExperience working in a manufacturing facilityExperience managing direct reportsSAP experienceWillingness to relocate for future assignmentsMcCormick & Company is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
