Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the World Document Management Analyst I PAE is seeking a Document Management Analyst (DMA I) to join our dynamic team to support the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Washington, DC. You will be responsible for initiating and composing standardized legal forms routinely needed for specific legal actions. Additionally, this position is responsible for: * Assisting in the preparation of legal actions such as judgments, applications, notices, affidavits, summons, subpoenas, and other legal documents. * Both technical and legal research * Composing memoranda not requiring legal interpretations but requiring thorough knowledge of legal procedures and applicable forms. * Processing legal documents, reviewing them for correct form and timeliness, and annotating case files and status records to reflect receipt and due date for response or other actions required. * Assisting attorneys or paralegal specialists in compiling the case materials by retrieving, photocopying, and assembling exhibits, affidavits and legal documents. * Establishes, maintains, and closes out case files or systems of legal records, annotating indices and status records, compiling workload and status reports, and locating and abstracting data from files and records. Minimum Qualifications: * Must be able to obtain a government security clearance. * One year of experience on major litigation support projects or undergraduate degree. * Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Must have excellent writing skills and oral communication capabilities Preferred Skills: * Research experience, legal or otherwise, is especially valued.
