Job Description: Essential Job Functions * Support the federal and state audit/appeal processes * Information gathering and analysis to include shelf items such as M adjustments, etc. for the IRS audit; modifications, apportionment, and intercompany transactions for the state audits * Provide audit-ready schedules for review and assist in sending documents to the IRS and state governments * Update IDR and NOPA logs for the IRS audit * Pulling general ledger detail, journal entries with support for analysis * Preparation of ad hoc reports based on requirements for federal and state audits, and special projects * Support quarterly tax reporting deliverables as needed. For example, update NOPA logs and prepare NOPAs received for submission to the external auditors, update the state uncertain tax positions roll forward, and assist in the coordination and consolidation of the ASC 450-20 process. * Oversee the state notice tracker on a day-to-day basis * Assist in the legal entity "good standing" project * Support special projects, as needed Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in accounting required * Large corporate experience preferred * Three or more years of corporate income tax experience * Strong organizational and communication skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Strong personal computer (including Microsoft Suite) and ERP accounting systems (including ad hoc reporting skills).
