General Summary: Centrus Energy Corp. seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to join the team at our corporate headquarters under a hybrid work schedule. Providing direct support to the Director, Financial Reporting, you will assume direct responsibility for the monthly closing of the books and all related closing activities. You will manage all accounting aspects of Oracle Fusion cloud. You will directly supervise 3-5 staff. You will actively participate in the SOx Program related documentation. You must be adept at problem solving and be able to develop improvements and efficiencies in our processes. Essential Functions of the Job: * Responsible for managing the monthly closing of the books in accordance with the tight closing timetables of an Accelerated filer. * Primary areas of focus include fixed assets, labor distribution, accrued expenses, allocations and intercompany transactions. * Review and post journal entries and prepare and review monthly account reconciliations. * Maintain and manage strict adherence to all SOx controls and SOx documentation requirements. * Coordinate, manage and ensure complete documentation for the quarterly testing of Oracle upgrades to Oracle Fusion. * Responsible for managing Oracle Fusion functionality, including coordinating issue resolution with IT, coordinating Oracle process improvements with IT, and maintaining documentation of all issues. * Managing the chart of accounts and coordinate changes with IT. * Support external and internal audits which includes the preparation of timely PBCs and financial statement analytical review. * Participate in developing and updating accounting policies and procedures for areas of responsibility. * Assist with SOx compliance, including quarterly updates of process documentation and controls. * Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting * CPA license required * Minimum of 8-10 years of accounting management experience in a medium public company with direct experience in closing the books * Prior experience with medium to large financial and accounting reporting systems including testing of upgrades and issue documentation * Demonstrated ability to meet closing and reporting deadlines of a publicly traded company * Strong documentation skills at the level required to adhere to SOx requirements * Strong verbal and written communications skills. * Experience internal controls experience including preparation of process documentation * General demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP * Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) * Previous experience with supervising at least 3 staff Preferred: * Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud software * Prior experience meeting the closing and reporting deadlines of an Accelerated filer * Combination of corporate and large public accounting experience * Prior experience developing SOx controls and documentation * Ability to manage multiple priorities/projects effectively * Prior experience in system issue resolution * Experience coordinating with multiple departments and levels of management including offsite locations * Advanced level of skills in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
