As *Senior Advisor, Community Engagement and Integration* you will develop and execute strategy around the Veterans, Military and Their Families strategic engagement initiative. You will be work with the Office of Community Engagement and other colleagues from Community, State & National Affairs and across the Enterprise to ensure integration of local advocacy with community outreach and engagement strategy. *Responsibilities* * Program Management :* Developing, executing, and implementing the Veterans, Military and Their Families (VMF) strategic engagement initiative in alignment with Enterprise goals and objectives. Setting strategies, identifying opportunities, and developing and implementing programs and projects to support and market AARP value to VMF audience. * State and Community Integration :* Providing strategic advice and counsel to state teams on the implementation of engagement and program implementation of VMF initiative. Providing strategic advice and counsel to integrate public facing local advocacy with overarching community engagement strategies. * Strategy Integration :* Providing consulting, strategic planning advice, and technical assistance to state and community advocates, with the goal of advancing and promoting AARP's advocacy objectives at the local level. Coordinating public facing local advocacy community engagement strategy, including voter engagement, with Livable Communities, Government Affairs, Campaigns, and other AARP organizational units. * Strategic Partnerships :* Identifying, developing, and maintaining partnerships that assist the VMF initiative in meeting its strategic business objectives. Conducting due diligence evaluating potential partners and developing and delivering presentations highlighting the value of alliances or partnerships to all involved parties. * Strategic Engagement Planning :* Managing the design and implementation of Enterprise strategies for the VMF target audience.
