The Transportation Team Lead will supervise the transport staff and perform duties involving Patient Transportation Services. This position required initiative and independent judgement. Qualifications * High School Diploma or Equivalent required. * One year of Transportation required. * Supervisory experience preferred. * American Heart Association BLS Certification required. Responsibilities * Responsible for functional knowledge of the Transport Tracking System to include entering in correct Pt information, prioritizing assignments and or making changes to existing request. * Works in conjunction with and supports all hospital departments/units, managers, technologists and nursing staff. * Communicate with and effectively engage patients of diverse age groups, providing all patients with the information and explanation they may need to understand and cooperate with, the procedure(s) at hand. * Identify patients' problems and report occurrences to supervisor or through notification system. * Supervise transportation services throughout the entire facility, maintaining prescribed standards of care and enforce continual compliance with hospital polices. * Maintain control, Location and inspection of all transport stretchers and wheelchairs Benefits Pay & Benefits: In addition to salary, the benefit package includes paid major holidays, vacation/sick time, health & dental insurance, and 401(k)
