Handles all marketing and communication initiatives designed to support business objectives, provide knowledge and information, engage, and support company best practices. Provides tools for communication and work with functional areas to build awareness and use of organization's communication vehicles. Participates in writing, editing, and branding to ensure consistency in messaging throughout the organization. Creates content for key documents, presentations, and talking points and ensure they are delivered through appropriate channels. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES ' Develops and implements marketing strategies and programs to communicate the business objectives, culture and values to its employees, clients, and other outside interests. ' Designs, edits, and oversees distribution of marketing-oriented communication materials via company website, newsletters, intranet, emails/memos, webcasts, employee meetings, etc. ' Develops standards and guidelines for style and content. ' Participate in the development of branding and corporate identity initiatives. ' Develop and implement marketing plans, including promotional calendars and programs, new and existing service/product introductions and other marketing projects. ' Develop and manage marketing budgets and monitor costs. ' Develop service/product branding plans. ' Conduct customer, brand and service/product research initiatives. ' Offer expert advice for innovative advertising, public relations, social media and events. ' Manage agency providers, media providers, consultants, freelancers and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and management. ' Supervise marketing resources, including hiring, training, workloads, and schedules. ' Oversee the operation and possible modernization of ValidaTek's website, social media program, and provide analytics review. ROLE, JOB SCOPE Management Freedom to Act Work is performed without appreciable direction. Determines organizational objectives. Establishes organizational policies in a major segment of the company. Interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to company-wide policies. Supervisory Relationships Generally, accomplishes results through lower management levels. Determines and establishes organizational structures and supervisory relationships, subject to top management approval. Operations Involvement Responsible for the successful operation of activities of major significance to the organization. Rarely becomes involved in daily operational activities. Impact Decisions would affect the financial, employee, or public relations posture of the company. Failure to achieve goals will have critical impact on success of functional area and organization. Liaison/Leadership Represents the organizational unit as prime internal and external contact on contracts or operations. Conducts briefings and technical meetings for top management and customer representatives. Interacts with equivalent-level managers concerning matters of significance to the organization. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS ' Minimum bachelor's degree and twelve years related experience with 5 years supervisory experience, or a combination of equivalent experience, training and education. * Experience supporting government contracting firms - Desired.
