You also have: 1-5 years experience in Electronics Technician or related position requiredAssociate Degree in Technical FieldMust have experience with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly and troubleshooting to component level.Must be able to read and interpret designs/schematicsMust be proficient with multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes (digital/multi-channel)Understanding of power tools, motor drives, controllers, and general mechanical principles a plusMust have experience with surface mount soldering (SMT), electronics prototyping, and basic failure analysisAbility to self-delegate tasks from several Engineers What You ll Do As a Senior Engineering Technician, you ll be part of our Global Tools and Storage (GTS) team located in Towson, MD. Ensure B+D products meet uncompromising standards of safety, quality, performance & compliance. Help the team deliver 5-Star user experiences and lead the response if we fall short of those expectations. Support Electronics Engineering Innovation projectsPrototype/assemble/test electronic controls and circuit boardsPerform thermal testing of electronic assembliesDocument new test procedures; follow and report test plan results.
