Job Summary QTC Medical Group has a Radiology Technician opening for an experienced professional seeking a rewarding and challenging opportunity supporting medical services for an Intelligence Community customer. Position may be part-time and candidate must possess current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Prepare patients for radiological procedures and follow established procedures for patient care and safety * Protect patients, yourself and staff from radiation exposure by practicing sound procedures which meet or exceed recommended industry standards * Obtain quality radiographs of patients in an acceptable timeframe; Process and accurately digitize images with correct patient data * Prepare examination rooms for radiographic procedures * Review each exam for technical accuracy * Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations * Comply with radiation safety guidelines and operates radiographic equipment safely * Perform other duties as assigned Competencies : * Ability to read and interpret manufacturer documentation * Knowledge of anatomy * Ability to provide the highest level of patient care Education and/or Experience: ( includes certificate & licenses )High School Diploma or equivalent GED required * American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology (CV-IR) certification preferred This job description supersedes all prior job descriptions and is intended to describe the general content and essential requirements for the position listed above.
