About the Company and Opportunity: Our repeat client is a non profit in Owings Mills, MD who focuses on helping people with developmental disabilities live, learn, work and engage in social activities within their communities Due to a medical leave, they are seeking a full time Accounting Assistant Day to day tasks include payroll data entry, full cycle accounts payable, and assisting with HR duties Overview of the HR Accounting Assistant role: This position will begin right away after a video interview for the selected candidate This position is 100% in office in Owings Mills, MD. Candidates must be able to commit to a full time work schedule and be local. Pay: $20-21/hour Ideal Candidate for this Position: The HR Accounting Assistant must have great time management skills and ability to manage priorities as they arise, taking on special projects and tasks as needed Ability to problem solve and work collaboratively to accomplish tasks Demonstrated ability to manage conflict and solve problems creatively Qualifications for the HR Accounting Assistant: 1+ years' experience with accounts payable and payroll required Experience using QuickBooks highly preferred Proficient Excel knowledge preferred Associates degree a plus!
