Position:The Lab Research Technician will function as a skilled technician who will utilize basic biological, chemical, physical, and life science laboratory skills to prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, standard operating procedures, and inventory updates.About Vita: Vita Therapeutics is a cell engineering company, founded out of Johns Hopkins University in 2019 that seeks to develop life-transformative treatments. The company utilizes induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) technology to develop regenerative therapies designed to support muscle regeneration and treat patients with muscle disorders.Responsibilities:Conduct laboratory activities, maintaining compliant records and documentationPerform/assist with performing various experiments and procedures.Maintain laboratory supply inventories and perform general lab maintenance and organization.Assist with documentation of all data related to cell culture procedures as specified by internal SOPsPrepare and evaluate cell cultures, media, and reagentsExperience:A Bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology, or related field1+ years of experience in a research environment or laboratory settingKnowledge of safe laboratory practices and training in Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)Experience in iPSC culture and differentiation techniques is preferredExperience with laboratory techniques: qPCR, ELISA, western blot, cell cultureVita Therapeutics is an equal opportunity employer committed to giving all qualified applicants consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Vita does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.Powered by JazzHRhC1RaHjpaJ
