Job Description The Enterprise Architect (SAP Business Processes) is the IT systems solution expert responsible for the overall Enterprise Applications (SAP) Roadmap that enables the achievement of mid and long term business priorities. Working alongside other SAP Solution Architects and business contacts, the Enterprise Architect will coordinate and lead the identifying, analyzing, translating and documenting of business requirements both current and future. In addition, the Enterprise Architect will be responsible for identifying, scoping, planning and implementing major cross-functional initiatives across the SAP team. The candidate must provide hands on expertise for designing 'best practice' business process solutions that combine knowledge from industry experience and latest capabilities within the SAP landscape. The candidate must effectively coordinate stakeholders across the business, IT and third-party vendors. Responsibilities: Research and recommend best practices related to various elements of Order to Cash, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Procurement processes including best practices related to the chemical industry Act as an internal expert on SAP ecosystem capabilities, strategy and roadmap Establish and maintain relationships with key Grace stakeholders both in IT and the business Partner with and provide architectural leadership to SAP Solutions Architects to deliver strategic IT solutions to the business Work with key stakeholders to maintain strategic Enterprise Applications (SAP) roadmap from current state to future state Provide recommendations to Grace leadership on applying current/emerging best practices addressing issues critical to success Act as the IT owner of the Grace Business Process Master List (BPML) and lead activities among key stakeholders to develop and maintain the knowledgebase Identify opportunities for improvement across the Enterprise Applications team, propose solutions and successfully implement the change Work collaborately with security, application & infrastructure teams to develop solutions that align with overall IT strategy Conduct workshops with technical and non-technical resources Required Skills Expert level SAP knowledge in one or more of the following modules: Sales & Distribution Production Planning Supply Chain Management Materials Management Knowledge of multiple modules of SAP is strongly preferred Excellent knowledge of business process integration across SAP modules Familiarity with SAP technical landscape such as ABAP, Fiori & WRICEF Familiarity with SAC and BW/4HANA is a plus Ability to think strategically about opportunities for business process/systems improvement Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills Ability to effectively communicate technical and analytical topics to both technical and non-technical resources is a must Ability to coordinate remote teams and work effectively with an offshore, outsourcing provider Required Experience Bachelor's degree in an Informational Technology discipline or equivalent experience in lieu of the degree 10+ years SAP Projects / Business Analysis / Service experience of which 5+ years working as an SAP functional analyst featuring hands on SAP configuration experience Preferred Qualifications Six Sigma Greenbelt and/or Project Management (PMI/PMP) certification Experience in chemical industry Working Knowledge of CRM solutions (Salesforce.com) and familiarity with SAP add-on solutions #WRGRACE Grace is not accepting unsolicited assistance from search firms for this employment opportunity.
