Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector (NGDS) is seeking a Principal / Sr. Principal Brand Representative to join our growing team of diverse professionals either on-site at our sector headquarters in McLean, Virginia, or virtually as a full-time teleworker.The successful Brand Representative will use experience and innate passion for integrated marketing and brand communications combined with an understanding of creative and media fundamentals, social media experience, exceptional project management skills and knowledge of industry trends.The selected candidate will be a brand steward within the organization and partners to solve creative and paid media problems from all angles: strategically, creatively, and through execution. Through direction and guidance, the Brand Rep will also champion the brand internally with enterprise campaigns and various internal channels.The Brand Rep will form integral relationships with brand teams throughout the enterprise including internal creative teams and external agencies. This person will help support sector storytelling by working with all internal partners to ensure all brand efforts are coordinated to be on schedule and accurate.General Roles and Responsibilities: Strategic Development Partners with peers, managers and directors on bringing the communications strategy and related workstreams to life through various communications tactics Seeks out strategic solutions to a variety of situations such as program or capability proof-points to any given internal or external campaign Fosters dialogue with measurement teams to ensure campaigns are set up, monitored and optimized for success Creative Development Assist with the reviews of internal and agency creative and media; provides the first line of sight of reviews and ensures all feedback is captured and consolidated with internal partners Owns creative timelines with partners to ensure deadlines are met or alerts of any shifts occurring during a campaign cycle Owns the internal legal process to ensure external communication material is approved for public release Project Management Fundamental experience in managing campaign timelines and a proven track record of meeting deadlines Ability to provide status updates to various stakeholders and the progress or any adjustments that may occur across multiple campaigns Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines and schedules Coordinating the development of any documents, meetings or other assets needed to enable success of a campaign Foster internal relationships in effort to manage internal creative of promotional material; ensuring final designs are strategic and on brand Assist with budget and billing efforts; reporting advertising campaign budgets are meeting monthly and quarterly forecasts Production & Final Execution When production occurs, coordinating production logistics with partners, peers, managers and directors to ensure a smooth and successful production Leading the final development of assets and ensuring internal approvals of all material before external release Social Media Assisting the Sector Digital Content Strategist with internal social media development by applying knowledge of industry trends, awareness of best social media practices May assist with social listening and setting up social monitoring upon needs Is available during crisis or heightened sensitivity scenarios to support with social media listening, content development, and reporting. This could be during and off of regular business hours This position may be filled at either the Principal or Sr. Principal level per the requirements below.Basic Qualifications for Principal Brand Representative: One of the following: High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years of marketing or advertising experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of marketing or advertising experience Master's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of marketing or advertising experience A team player with outstanding communication, presenting, organizational and writing skills Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a US Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance The ability to travel as needed (up to 10% of the time) Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Brand Representative: One of the following: High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 14 years of marketing or advertising experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of marketing or advertising experience Master's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of marketing or advertising experience A team player with outstanding communication, presenting, organizational and writing skills Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a US Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance The ability to travel as needed (up to 10% of the time) Preferred Qualifications: Advertising Account Executive, Project Manager or related position within an ad agency Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of responsibilities daily The successful person will have a resourceful nature, be able to build relationships with a variety of people and functions, and have a general sense of urgency in completing tasks on time and with accuracy Active DoD Secret security clearance Salary Range: 76000 - 125400 Salary Range 2: 94200 - 155500 Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
