EdgeConneX is processing terabytes of data from back-office applications, data center SCADA information systems, and other enterprise applications in order to build systems that are used to run our company most efficiently. The Data Architect is responsible for providing innovative solutions to drive insights from business and operational data. Using a combination of on-prem and cloud-based frameworks, this individual is responsible for implementing and maintaining this core infrastructure across the globe. This position will report to the Director of Analytics and can be based in Herndon , Denver , or Amsterdam . Primary Responsibilities Design, deliver and support new solutions for data processing and analysis Enhance and support current data warehouse, data sharing, and reporting infrastructure Translate business needs into reliable, secure solutions in a fast-paced environment Apply predictive modeling, regression, and other techniques to extract insights from businesses and operational data Enhance and support reports, flows and apps on the Microsoft Power Apps Platform Create and maintain complex SQL scripts, SPs and UDFs Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Expert-level proficiency with SQL Server databases Ability to design, deploy and support solutions in SQL Server, Azure and Power Apps Outstanding leadership skills to build strong relationships across the organization, translate business needs into analysis deliverables, and function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities Skilled in investigating and troubleshooting complex data-centric processes and puzzles Outstanding oral and written communication skills in leading teams and coordinating with peers Commitment to organizational excellence and constant awareness to seek opportunities for efficiency improvement Experience/Education 7+ years working with SQL 3+ years working with MS SQL Server Hands-on experience with Azure or other cloud-based data processing platform Experience with Microsoft Power Apps Platform Experience or coursework with Predictive Modeling, Machine Learning, or similar techniques EdgeConneX believes diversity - of thought, backgrounds and experiences - affects all that we do, from our employees to the solutions we deliver.
