Join our dynamic and diverse Peraton Technology Services Team on site, at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), as our Supervisor for Lab Hardware & Integration Engineering Support. You will be a key leader on our Environmental Test and Integration Services (ETIS) contract as part of the team. You have the unique opportunity to be engaged in multiple exciting space projects inte grated and tested in the GSFC state-of-the-art facilities. The ETIS Team is seeking a line supervisor to manage two functional departments of engineers and technicians, encompassing approximately 12 people within the ETIS contract. Departments include: - Purge, which designs, builds, and operates specialized systems to deliver ultra-pure gas to flight instruments and equipment, eliminating contamination and damage from atmospheric exposure. This department also provides maintenance, repair, and modification of facility pressure systems such as nitrogen and compressed air. - Integration Engineering, which provides project planning, logistics, coordination, and other engineering support to multiple NASA flight projects. This position will report to the ETIS Integration & Test Manager. Direct reports include represented engineers and engineering technicians. Responsibilities may include the following: - Direct NASA customer interface for ensuring quality of services and problem resol ution. Develop relationships with customers. - Leadership for development of improved programs and/or processes - Resolution of personnel and administrative issues - Coordination of travel schedules and logistics - Creating and tracking budgets and/or assignment of personnel for various flight projects and NASA programs - Tracking and/or initiating various procurements to support group functions and/or flight project needs - Development and presentation of routine presentations and reports for NASA customers - Other duties as assigned by ETIS management, which are typically focused on innovative initiatives, programmatic problem-solving, and problem resolution within different areas of the program. Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years industry experience with a Bachelors Degree in a STEM field - Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or related field (Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree highly preferred). - Experience creating, executing, and tracking budgets and tasks - Strong organizational and relationship-building skills, as well as ability to easily relate with many different types of people. Preferred Qualifications: - Management degree or certification, such as MBA, PMP, etc - Experience managing personnel in a in a represented workforce, and/or in a technical environment - Experience of direct personnel management/supervision in an engineering/technical environment, preferably in the Aerospace industry - Experience managing task-based government contracts We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
