We have an opportunity for a Denmark Class Desk Systems Engineer in Patuxent River, MD. Description: Responsibilities and Tasking: Provide Systems Engineering (SE) support as follows: Review and provide comments/recommendations to all Engineering Class Desk documents (SOW, CDRL, technical proposals, etc.) for inclusion and compliance with DALO's requirements Coordinate with multiple disciplines required to prepare or review the technical documentation, proposals, investigations, analyses, needed to support ECPs, Product Test Verifications, Interim Flight Clearances (IFCs), Flight Clearance Recommendations and other appropriate documentation (ex. CDRLs) for all systems applicable to the DALO, as well as DALO-unique changes. This includes compiling information into a single product when required and working to adjudicate issues Prepare assorted documents in support of PMRs, technical reviews, technical coordination meetings, TPWG's, CSWG, SSWG, SETRs)/Model Based Systems Engineering Activities, briefings, and other significant program activities Perform sanitation of technical documents for foreign disclosure and release through appropriate channels and upload to DALO IPT SmartNav Solutions (SNS) for DALO concurrence and comments Maintain and update information in the DALO IPT SNS, which provides an automated communication network system of programmatic and technical information and data (to Secret Level) between NAVAIR Engineering and the DALO Coordinate meetings as requested by the DALO that require participation from Lockheed Martin, Sikorsky and/or the PMA-299 domestic team. This includes reserving a meeting location, attendee visit requests/clearances, generating the agenda, generating meeting minutes, etc. Assess DALO IPT program data and information requirements in support of DALO's aircraft sustainment Development of appropriate engineering documentation, formal letters, informal memorandums and other general correspondence Reports directly to the PMA-299 FMS Class Desk and/or PMA-299 FMS Deputy Class Desk Provide ancillary SE support as requested by the FMS Class and Deputy Class Desk Attend meetings as requested by the PMA-299 FMS Class Desk and/or PMA-299 FMS Deputy Class Desk: PMA 299 Engineering Meetings: Weekly CCB Weekly PTRB Monthly FMS Engineering Team FMS Leadership DALO Engineering USN/DALO Bi-weekly Engineering Technical Interchange Meeting (TIM) DALO System Safety Monthly Meeting DALO IPT meetings Bi-weekly Program Review DALO Semi-annual PMR Qualifications: Skills Required: Engineering degree or scientific discipline with a minimum of 2 years of experience Ability to apply Systems Engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop or evaluate military weapon systems and experience in providing technical management oversight of complex projects Familiar with and able to implement as part of program execution NAVAIR's Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR), Engineering Change Proposal (ECP), System Safety and Airworthiness processes Good written and verbal communications skills Proficient with MS Office products Self-starter Ability to work independently with little guidance Preferred Experience: Rotary wing FMS experience Anti-Submarine Warfare Security Clearance: This position will require US citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance ZENETEX is an Equal Opportunity/affirmative action Employer.
