Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) has an exciting career opportunity for a Principal Project Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in support of program test activities. This position will be located at NAS (Naval Air Station) Patuxent River, MD.Position Overview:The ITT (Integrated & Test Team) is a combined test team working together to ensure future capabilities are tested and evaluated in an efficient manner. The selected candidate will work with a technical team and Task Order leadership to gather necessary information for cost control and forecasting financial data and delivering monthly program reports. The CAM will update Earned Value Management (EVM) tools and produce required data products, review monthly Earned Value (EV) data and provide detailed cost account status, and support program requirements for the EV battle rhythm.Essential Functions: Track budget actuals against predictions and financial performance against LOE and discrete work Participate in CAM status calls, prepare status for/attend weekly status meeting, provide/enter weekly Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) status, Support stakeholder meetings, review Actuals Hours reports for time charging accuracy and alignment with IMS status. On a monthly basis: calculate & enter Estimate to Complete (ETCs) into the financial system, analyze EV metrics and generate Variance Reports (VARs) as required, and attend program VAR meetings. Support the development of the Integrated Program Management Reviews (IPMR) CDRL deliverable. As required, identify/request IMS forecast and baseline changes via schedule change requests and "what if" schedules, and plan technical work, including scope, cost & schedule, with direction from leadership. Participate in Integrated Baseline Reviews as required and maintain Work Authorization Documents (WADs) for each Control Account, ensuring the WADs are always up-to-date. Assess project issues and help develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives; develop metrics/mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience, Master's degree with 4 years of experience Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) Ability to develop, maintain, and follow documented processes and procedures Active DoD Secret clearance or higher Demonstrated ability to develop and use spreadsheet-based analysis tools Preferred Qualifications: Practiced in identifying IMS forecast and baseline changes via schedule change requests and "what if" schedules Demonstrated skills in cost estimation, control, and forecasting and experience with cost-schedule integration (EV) especially related to Agile Development methodologies Knowledge of Northrop Grumman CAM/CAM Analyst processes and policies (PMP) or equivalent desired. Familiarity with scheduling tools like MS Project Salary Range: 83600 - 125400 Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
