Responsibilities Perspecta has an immediate need for aProduct Manager supporting aWashington DC MetroareaFederal Government client.The Product Manager is part ofanAgilesoftware developmentteamcharged with both the operations and maintenance of60+ applications and development of new innovativeapplication solutions.The Product Managerisresponsible for conducting stakeholder interviews, user interviews, requirements workshops, leading backlog grooming sessions, interacting with Product Owners, end users, and other stakeholders toidentify problems and develop solutions. This includesvalidatingexistingrequirements andcreate new user stories. The successful candidate will help to align theirProductManager/Business Analyst discipline to our build, measure, learn web application development methodology. Responsibilities: Lead the planning of product releasesand set expectationsforthedelivery of new functionalitiesand platform upgrades;monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards and cost targets are met Effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders, product owners and teams to help them understand the products key capabilities and benefits; understand their needs to enhance adoption of product Maintainknowledge of product enhancements, vendor road maps, and product user community discussions Effectively coordinate otherAgile deliveryand projectteams Participate in releasing planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives with development teams Utilize Agile methodologies including Scrum,SAFe, and Kanban and keep up to date with best practices and new trends Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful completion of Release or Sprint Goals for projects and related products Maintain program objectives, success measurements or key performance indicators (KPIs) Qualifications 2 to5+ years of experience in the business process analysis field, systems engineering discipline or human centered design role. Bachelors degree in Computer Science preferred. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile software application development environment Strong communications skills Strategic,analyticmindset Experience working collaboratively, whiledeliveringresults Experience with solutiondesign, leveragingknowledge of emerging technologies and critical thinking skills to continually innovate and automate existing methodologies, processes, procedures and reporting. Strong Business Judgment, Leadership and Integrity Experience with Visio,Github,Leankit, Balsamiq Possesses an understanding and experience of Lean Startup Principles including their role in Lean Agile and Lean UX Understanding of Human Centered Design Methodologies and best practices Proven experience coordinating with multiple technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users Experience creating visual artifacts such as story mapping and flow diagrams that help explain complex workflows and process Experience in interviewing stakeholders and synthesizing their feedback to uncover patterns and themes Experience prioritizing feedback, creating feature lists and defining a minimum viable product (MVP) Ability to pass a DHS public trust background investigation. Preferred Experience : Experience with Agile Methodology (Kanban, Scrum). DevOps environment experience One or more industry certifications (INCOSE, PMP, ITIL, PMI-ACP) Familiarity with SDLC. Familiarity with software implementation tools and methodologies, such as GitHub, Oracle, AWS. LeanKitor equivalent Agile Lifecycle Management tool Mockup and sketching of customer requirements Graphics design and conceptual illustration Experience workingin a rapid development environment creating prototypes and proof of concept applications Work with software engineering practices, techniques, and standards For Colorado Residents Colorado Salary Minimum: $62,566.40 Colorado Salary Maximum:$133,764.80 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
