We are currently seeking experienced, full-time Software Engineers to join our team. You may be responsible for the maintenance and extension of 'mission critical' software for new and legacy space missions or coding the control systems next generation of space exploration vehicles. This position requires expertise and experience in full life-cycle software development. While preferred candidates will have experience with satellite ground systems and/or mission operations - if you can code software, we'll teach you about space. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of developing, integrating, testing, and troubleshooting software. Required Skills/Qualifications: CS, Software Engineering, or a related discipline Experience developing and testing C and/or C++ Solid working knowledge of Python, Linux, and Microsoft Windows Ability to communicate regularly, professionally, and clearly, both verbally and in writing Candidates must be citizens of the United States of America Preferred Qualifications Include: Experience developing distributed computing and inter-process communication mechanisms in a space partitioned software architecture Experience with avionics and integrated flight hardware (including subsystem flight and ground test beds, support equipment, integration and validation) System engineering experience in generating, tracking and proving successful implementation of requirements.
