Principal Systems Engineer Raytheon Technologies is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to provide Systems Engineering and Integration in support of a government customer's critical National Interests. The Principal SE&I Engineer will provide systems engineering lifecycle support for mission system to include the assessment, planning, coordination, scheduling and the implementation of projects from inception to system transition as well as ongoing operations. The key purpose of this position is to assist the Government in making informed decisions regarding the installation, integration checkout and test of operational system modifications and upgrades. The candidate should have a proven ability of communications with key stakeholders across the program community & functional organizations. This position requires an energetically self-directed, self-motivated capable person to manage Systems Engineering and Integration to support the complete development life cycle of assigned systems. The Principal Systems Engineer will apply their existing technical skills to act self-directed, in the efficient implementation of their duties to achieve customer goals, as well as coordinating with other engineering team members and Subject Matter Experts to ensure optimal mission support. Security Clearance: An active and in-scope US TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph. Required Skills: Minimum 8 years related experience providing full Life Cycle Systems Engineering and Integration support to operational elements of mission systems: Systems installation, integration and test Support to systems tests, studies and evaluations Outstanding communication and coordination skills for the effective and accurate exchange of information providing the Customer visibility into Systems Engineering activities and project status Strong Systems Engineering and problem solving skills independently and in a team environment Experience preparing and presenting written and oral reports/briefings Proven ability to work collaboratively with government and contractor teams Self-starter who is able to complete with minimal intervention Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities Proficient in the management multiple simultaneous projects Desired: Proficient with MSOffice suite of tools (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel) System wide process evaluation and process improvement Agile process and methodologies Evidence of meaningful teammate and customer relationships Experience working across team boundaries Six Sigma Certification Systems Engineering Certification (ITIL, INCOSE, etc.) Required Education (including Major) Candidate possess a bachelor's degree in a related technical field (prefer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Systems Engineering) with 8+ years of related experience.
