This position will be responsible for recruitment pipeline management, including sourcing, screening, and managing the interview process. It will ensure all employment screenings such as background/employment and credit checks meet requirements. The Recruiter will also work with hiring managers to update job descriptions to ensure job duties are accurate, conducts kick-off meetings with hiring managers to outline the recruitment process, gather requirements for the position and ensures screening questions are focused on gathering all pertinent information required to make a quality hiring decision. Reviews and/or creates interview questions and ensures questions are related to the job description: job duties, skills, systems knowledge, and duration of experience Develops strong relationships and partners with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process Writes and places job advertisements in various media to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings Utilizes Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates Ensures current job descriptions and position details are used in the Applicant Tracking System. Processes internal application requests Networks through industry contacts, trade groups, social media, and employees to generate applicant pools Develops a pool of candidates in advance of need Researches and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting Conducts phone screens with eligible candidates to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position to the candidate Coordinates interview appointments for hiring managers to meet with qualified applicants Coordinates proactive ongoing communications with applicants, hiring managers, and senior management for employment purposes Initiates employment, background checks, and drug screening for applicants Contacts and extends offers of employment to selected applicants. Confers with the Director of Human Resources and Human Resources Operations Manager with any negotiations requested from applicant Manages applicant communication throughout the recruiting process Closes out position in ATS when the requisition is closed Qualifications: Personal Attributes: Highly self-motivated and directed Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly Good analytical and problem-solving abilities Sets continuous improvement goals Ability to effectively prioritize and accurately execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language Very strong customer service orientation Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Investigative mindset needed to avoid hiring mistakes Education and/or Experience: Recruiter I Two years recruiting experience, required Demonstrated ability to source active candidates utilizing a variety of virtual/online tools Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System, required Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize work and accurately complete multiple tasks under minimal supervision and rigid time constraints Recruiter II - Includes all requirements from Level I Four years recruiting experience, required Demonstrated ability to source passive and active candidates utilizing a variety of virtual/on-line tools Financial institution experience, a plus
