We have an exciting opportunity for Systems Engineers to join our team in support of the ITOPS TSS endeavor (formerly known as CRISP) at the US Department of Veteran's Affairs . Responsibilities: Systems Engineers provide technical support in system architecture, system design, system integration, and technical management. They assist in providing technical input to the system engineering process. At some levels they provide requirement analysis and may be called upon to develop and implement installation plans, as well as conduct system assurance reviews. They may also at advanced levels be called upon to identify requirements and deficiencies in hardware and software products. Senior level engineering staff will lead teams of engineers in developing application and technical plans. Requirements: System Engineer, Jr.- Bachelor's Degree (computer Science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required). Two years of experience is preferred. (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education). System Engineer- Bachelor's Degree (computer Science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required). Five years of experience is required. (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education). System Engineer, Sr.- Master's Degree (computer Science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required). Ten years of experience is required. (10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education).
