ThompsonGas, LLC is the fastest growing propane retailer in the US and we are looking for new talent to join our Human Resources Team in Frederick, MD. The Human Resource Administrator is responsible for the general administration of the HR Department. This position will primarily focus on managing and tracking applicant pre-screenings, employee onboarding, managing HRIS and LMS data and general training coordination. This position will report to the Human Resources Director.Essential Job Duties:Manage workflow for all applicant pre-screenings with background checks, MVR's and drug testingOversee employee onboarding process by sending start date emails and onboarding packets to all managersServe as administrator for company LMS (Learning Management System) by assigning training to new hires, tracking progress of required training and pulling status reportsManage HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) to ensure data integrityCreate and maintain monthly HR Scorecard via ADP reporting systemsServe as main point of contact for HRIS reporting needsManage and track I-9 process and auditing company-wideRespond and process unemployment claims weeklyTrack and manage labor law posters for 22 statesAssist with up-keep for company intranet on HR sections with forms, organization, and roll-outs.Process and maintain all status reports and demographic changesMaintain employee records of 950+ employeesConduct new-hire orientations via phone and webinarAssist with merger and acquisition preparation and due diligenceAssist with projects as directed by the HR Director and Sr. VP of HREducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in HR or related field1-2 years in an HR administration role preferred, but recent grads also encouraged to applyStrong aptitude for managing multiple systems, building reports and identify opportunities to improve process by leveraging technologyEffective communication skills, oral and writtenExcellent Customer Service skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office programs: Word, Outlook, and ExcelStrong organizational skillsAbility to consistently meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlineThe ability to perform multiple tasks and maintain flexibility with prioritiesPERKS WITH US!Medical, Vision and Dental InsuranceCompany paid Short Term Disability, Life Insurance and AD&DPaid sick time, vacation time and paid holidays offImmediate 401(k) contributions with company match after one yearWellness Programs with prizesTuition ReimbursementAnd many more!ThompsonGas provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
