POSITION OVERVIEW:The US Chamber of Commerce Foundation is looking for a talented and dynamic communications professional to support its perennial programs as well as topical and timely special projects that communicate the Foundation's mission and impact in several critical areas. The ideal candidate will be an avid digital storyteller, social media user, and trend spotter who relishes the chance to convey relevance, create dialogue, and build impact"A cents € all while staying within budget and on deadline. The communications team works in a fast-paced, results-based environment and is seeking a colleague who can demonstrate tenacity, resourcefulness, and strategic thinking and has a keen eye for detail.RESPONSIBILITIES:Support the senior communications managers with project management, maintaining timelines and deliverables and proactively communicating with internal colleagues, external partners, and vendors.Develop and copy edit editorial content, including blogs, briefing materials, case studies, research reports, website content, program collateral, and publications.Help build marketing emails and newsletters.With guidance from the senior manager of digital content and marketing, manage and/or edit subscriber lists for email and the email marketing platform.Help develop compelling social media content and partner toolkits.Assist with event-related communications, including creating event livestreams for social media, producing event webpages for registration, monitoring attendee engagement, and coordinating creative development.Build and/or manage webpages on the Foundation website.Work with the internal Creative team on event-related graphics and materials, including animated videos, transition slides, and promotion graphics.Provide administrative support to leadership.Assist with event logistics and the execution of select educational programs.Perform additional duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years' related experience in communications, public relations, or marketing.Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar graphics and/or digital design software.Experience using digital communication tools.Exceptional project management and organization.Strong attention to detail and the ability to write and speak with clarity.Excellent grammatical skills and a working knowledge of AP style.Creativity, curiosity, and the instinct to approach projects strategically.Ability to work across teams to support internal communication needs.Resourcefulness and strong decision-making capabilities.Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.Comfort and ease in interacting with a wide array of stakeholders, including senior-level executives.Poise and excellent customer service.Flexibility to travel on occasion.Experience with email marketing platforms, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar preferred.Experience with social media software, such as Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Falcon.IO, or similar preferred.We recruit, employ, train, compensate, and promote without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, marital status, status as a protected veteran, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
