Come join us, and find out what the best work of your career could look like for you.Responsibilities:We are looking for a Seasoned Chief Engineer to oversee a Class A building in Washington. Must have a DC 3rd Class license, strong building operations knowledge to include chiller plant, vav's, Siemens BAS, and a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Chief Engineer. Hours Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. Salary negotiable $40 - $55 based on knowledge and experience.Major Duties:Oversee team's success within each of the occupied commercial buildingsWork hand in hand with the Property Management Group, ensure their satisfactionAssist in engineering duties including: Perform daily, weekly and monthly inspections of systems and associated equipment and diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing and electrical problems as requiredMaintain equipment to industry standards.Provide assistance and support to sub-contractors designated to perform installation and/or repair of equipment and/or hardware as required.Complete daily, weekly and/or monthly reportsPurchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion.Prepare and distribute daily, weekly and monthly reports of system status and work completed.Prepare predictive maintenance on assigned equipment in order to prevent breakdowns and/or outages.Qualifications:Must Possess a DC 3rd Class Engineer LicenseMust have a minimum of 5 years as a Chief EngineerExperience - Chiller plant, VAV's, Siemens BASStrong building operations knowledge5-8 years of experience operating, maintaining and installing mechanical equipmentEOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled
